I never imagined I’d be the one teaching others about money.
Over a lifetime, I’ve been fortunate to have excellent mentors — people who showed me what thoughtful planning looks like, and others whose missteps taught me just as much. From both, I learned the same lesson: the principles that build financial security aren’t complicated. They just require discipline.
A few golden rules have guided me ever since:
Live on less than you make. It sounds simple because it is — and yet it changes everything.
Save 15% of every dollar that comes in. Not someday. Now. Every time.
Never invest in anything you don’t fully understand. If you can’t explain it, you shouldn’t own it.
There are no shortcuts. No scheme, no tip, no “opportunity” replaces the quiet, steady work of building wealth over time.
These aren’t secrets. They’re habits — and they’re available to anyone willing to practice them. That’s why I’m here.
