Frank Woods

Founder and Financial Literacy Advocate

I never imagined I’d be the one teaching others about money.

Over a lifetime, I’ve been fortunate to have excellent mentors — people who showed me what thoughtful planning looks like, and others whose missteps taught me just as much. From both, I learned the same lesson: the principles that build financial security aren’t complicated. They just require discipline.

A few golden rules have guided me ever since:

  • Live on less than you make. It sounds simple because it is — and yet it changes everything.
  • Save 15% of every dollar that comes in. Not someday. Now. Every time.
  • Never invest in anything you don’t fully understand. If you can’t explain it, you shouldn’t own it.
  • There are no shortcuts. No scheme, no tip, no “opportunity” replaces the quiet, steady work of building wealth over time.
  • These aren’t secrets. They’re habits — and they’re available to anyone willing to practice them. That’s why I’m here.
